About
Johannes Emmerling is a Senior Scientist at the European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE), Fondazione CMCC, Milan.
Previously a Senior Researcher at FEEM (2012–2018), he holds a Ph.D. from the Toulouse School of Economics, an M.A. from the Free University Berlin, and a B.Sc. from the University of Heidelberg. He has collaborated with the World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank, EBRD, and GIZ, among others.
His research spans climate change and environmental economics, risk and uncertainty, welfare and inequality, and integrated assessment modeling. He is also a passionate cyclist and plays keyboards.
